1993 Fender Stratocaster Custom Shop USA Holoflake Black Sparkle w original Case
The Fender Custom Shop has long been the pinnacle of modern guitar manufacturing, offering both period correct vintage reissues and more modern takes on classic Fender models, finished with the highest attention to detail. This 1993 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster is a great example of the stellar work produced during the early years of the Custom Shop, and finished in the rare Black Holoflake colour. No mass production, no assembly lines. Extreme attention to detail and meticulous craftsmanship!
This particular Custom Shop Custom Classic Strat boasts the iconic Holoflake finish, which gives the guitar a stunning 3D aesthetic that lights up from every angle. The Custom Shop pickups are vintage voiced, with a robust and dynamic tone that never gets thin or shrill. The end result is an instrument that is perfect in the stage and studio alike. It is in very good to excellent condition with only a few marks visible on the body and fretboard. The frets have wear but should be ok for another life of gigs. Guitar comes with everything pictured like the original Fender OHSC molded hardshell case.
Purchased from the original owners family, this Stratocaster is an amazing sounding guitar with a lovely local Dutch legacy. It was bought brand new in '93 by Dutch guitarist Bob Struik (10/12/1951- 23/12/2023) who played in local bands like Charley's Wain, Memory Lane, Down The Line, Gamble and Purple House but he was also a regular drop-in guitarist for famous Dutch bands as Brainbox and The Amazing Stroopwafels!! When he received a pay for playing with the Stroopwafels, first thing Bob did was go to the Music Store and spend his money on a guitar. He did not particularly like the look of this Strat but, as a professional musician, the sound of it was so good he just had to buy it!!
So if you want to stand out with the looks AND the sound, this is the one to have!
