1997 Gibson Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul Standard Sunburst
This is an original run 1997 Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul in stunning condition and with an amazing 3D AAA flame top, weighing a bag of crisps over 4.4Kg.
The guitar is a combination of Jimmy’s Les Paul No.1 and No.2 and has a compound radius '59 neck profile like his Les Paul Number One and 4 push/pull pots (like Number Two) for a dazzling 21 pickup combinations which makes this an extremely versatile studio/gigging guitar like no other!
It has a nice Honey Burst finish on a stunning AAA flamed maple top, dark cherry finished mahogany body and neck, cream-bound 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, original 496R and 500T humbuckers, all four pots push-pull for coil taps and phase reversal, gold hardware, ABR-1 bridge, stop tailpiece, cream pickguard embossed with Page's signature in gold and Grover tuners with keystone buttons. All solder untouched.
The guitar is in near mint collector grade condition just as it left the factory nearly 30 yeas ago. The finish is glossy with only minor surface scratching and some spots of light finish wear, mostly around the edges of the headstock but no cracks, breaks, repairs, dents or blemishes. The metal hardware is lightly tarnished with age. The guitar plays very easy with a nice low action and the original frets have thousands of gigs to go. It really plays and sounds incredible!
Comes in the original Gibson Les Paul hardshell case with emerald green lining and Jimmy Page signature shroud.
