We all know that the Gibson True Historic line produced some incredible guitars. The accuracy and level of detail that Gibson went to is well documented and most certainly a cut above anything the Custom shop had ever produced.
 
While Gibson was going through the process they made a couple of Prototypes based off of real guitars. Carmelita (which ultimately went into production) and Billy Gibbons' Pearly Gates, the one seen here.

These guitars will never go into production as the True Historic line has ended and is as rare and collectable of a Les Paul as one can hope to get out of a modern instrument. And as rare as they come, this would be the pinnacle of collectability.
 
It was lightly to medium aged and with the moderate checking this is a very realistic vintage piece -  unlike most of the aged guitars out there today... Stunning 3D Flame Maple top that changes flame with different light. Guess how this looks on stage!
 
It comes fully documented with the COA, warranty card, even the shipping label with the guitar mentioned is in the case!
